Westside Equipment Co Acquires VMECH Technology



Last week, Madera, California-based manufacturer, Westside Equipment Company acquired VMECH Technology. Westside welcomed the Fresno-based manufacturer of state-of-the-art vineyard technology to their family of premier farming equipment on June 2, 2023.


"VMECH has been a pioneer in the grape vineyard industry with unmatched engineering, design, and innovation," said Robert Huckaby, Chief Executive Officer of Westside Equipment. "With the acquisition now complete, we plan to incorporate our leadership and position in the ag community to further expand and improve the abilities of the VMECH product line along with Westside Equipment's 24/7 in-season service and support."

VMECH Technologies is a Fresno-based company that pioneered the versatile Chariot, a mechanized vineyard pruning machine that combines modern technology with old-school mechanical infrastructure to provide a new revolutionary tool unseen in the grape industry.
